The Rockstar Promo Blog is now accepting new bloggers!
That's right, you heard it, we are now accepting bloggers to join us. There is much to share about the promo industry and with our voices united, we'll help to make the industry better for those who love the work we do!
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
It is important that every blogger selected must be able to write efficiently while meeting the assigned deadlines. Our audience looks to The Rockstar Promo Blog for clear and informative content that gives them a deeper understanding to better navigate through the promo industry. Therefore, we are looking for bloggers who are (but not limited to):
-Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling and persuasive content
-Must be able to write informative content that is relative to the current industry trends
-Ability to write, edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, grammar, and brand voice
-Drive traffic & engagement from our audience resulting in likes, posting comments, sharing, etc on our platforms
-Help create content in brand Rockstar Promo Blog apparel/merchandise and unbranded apparel
-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
-Must have strong knowledge of the industry through personal experience
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT'S EXPECTED?
We're looking for professionals in the experiential marketing industry who can commit to writing at least 15-20 blogs per year (or 1-2 blogs a month). We are looking to bring on 10 bloggers over the course of the next season. Those who are selected will video chat with the team once a month to bounce ideas off each other for blog ideas, and all are expected to help promote the blogs they write or the blog in general.
We're not looking for fluff pieces. We are looking for individuals who have a niche in the industry so each blogger that's selected has a lane they can submit content for. It's okay if you've held many positions in the promo industry but each blogger will be assigned a niche to write about that relates to the majority of their promo work. This way each blogger has a lane of their own and a place to hold as a member on our team.
WHAT YOU GET OUT OF IT:
-Collaboration opportunities on social media
-You'll be an official blogger of the Rockstar Promo Blog
-Blogs that achieve target traffic benchmarks by assigned deadlines will receive compensation. Compensation varies by traffic.
Writing blogs on The Rockstar Promo Blog has helped me land clients and contracts with other companies because my blogs displayed my knowledge and experience. Writing blogs has served me better than any cover letter. The Rockstar Promo Blog is a rare gem where the content is written for the benefit of those in the industry whereas most promo blogs are written with the client as the target audience.

Are you tired of the frustration from not getting booked?
Do you find it hard to get booked by new promo companies? Are you burnt out from submitting for new events?
Do you have questions you would actually wanted answered without the fluffy answers?
You are not alone. I promise you. I recently concluded a contract with a client and I kept running into the same issue when reviewing submissions from promo workers. This is why I wanted to discuss this topic in my next Facebook live. I see your status-s and I've read your message to the blog. It's time to centralize the conversation.
In my live I will be going over 5 more reasons why your submissions are being skipped over, explaining the logic behind various turn-offs and pet peeves staffers have and I'll be providing you with resources to move forward in your adventures as promo workers.
